2) Customer Service
Activism
I believe, on the whole, that Customer
Service in North America stinks. Some of the most blatant
culprits are the large multinationals who just don't get it!! (Have
you tried calling a telecom recently?)
However, in the midst of this dysfunctionality, I present wonderful
stories of great service providers, and my keynotes celebrate the
winners and scold the offenders.
And not surprisingly, these are small to medium businesses who
go far beyond the call of duty and create a "magical experience"
for their customers.
My keynote "Customer Service Activism"
will leave you pumped and allow you to relive the line from the
movie Network, "I am mad as
hell and I am not going to take it anymore."
In October of 2005 I presented the above keynote speach at the
Business Achievement Awards Dinner in Selkirk Manitoba. I received
a standing ovation from 240 guests at the Business Awards Achievement
dinner in that community. Read additional testimonials below.
3)Youth Retention in
a Confident Community
Youth retention and confident communities are inextricably linked.
You cannot have one without the other. During a very successful
six-community speaking tour in Saskatchewan, Roy Prevost delivered
an inspiring 90-minute keynote entitled “Creating Confident
Communities” that set these towns and cities on a new path
to reaching out to their youth – and renewing their community
vitality. Roy delivers both a 90-minute keynote as well as a day-long
workshop. Find out more about this keynote and workshop here.
